Linguine al Limone with Shrimp and Basil

"Roberto was a Facebook Birders Friend as I flew into Seattle from India. Entertaining my request to meet him, he welcomed us to have dinner with him in his home.
The evening that followed was a treat for both the soul and the palate. Roberto was the best. He layed out his best china and best Italian cuisine for us. Enjoyed the company, intimate dinner party and the blossoming of a permanent friendship. Thanks a million dear friend Roberto Pisano. That lemon shrimp linguine still lingers in our memory”

Lobster Risotto with Shrimp and Scallops

"It was one of the finest lunches in memory. This guy certainly knows how to cook. A well spent afternoon”.
~ Dick Busher, Seattle, WA

"With Roberto it's all about passion. Passion for the food, the company, the experience, about life itself. Few things in life are better than friends sharing a meal. Roberto understands this and brings his considerable expertise to the table with style and grace."

Squid Ink Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare

Cioppino

“I’m blessed to be the beneficiary of many fine meals created by brilliant chefs. However, only Roberto Pisano has taught me techniques while filling in the provenance of the dish, and regaling his audience with stories of his travels, peppered with keen observation, an ear for irony, and a wicked sense of humour - often retold with accents and expressions picked up along the way. Cooking with Roberto is unforgettably unique, and will likely have you roaring with laughter while you learn recipes that will make you the most popular dinner host among your circle of friends”.

”What an incredible time we had with Roberto at our house in Port Townsend! It was so much fun that we couldn't stop; the event continued for 12 hours!”
~ Marci Brown Fredericksen, Port Townsend, WA

"Frankly, I’m not sure how I can express to you everyone’s thrill over the cooking tutorial you orchestrated on May 20. I’ve delayed this note while trying to figure out how to adequately express my gratitude and my joy with the recent extravaganza. Still at a loss for words, I’ll just stumble through.

I definitely liked your FB posts and your attitude in response to various posts. I WAY BIG time liked your photos of meals you’d prepared and explanation of such. Part of me said, “What on Earth has he done to that duck?” Ha! It looked beyond delicious. I contacted you in the off chance that you’d come to Port Townsend from Seattle and show us how to cook something.

Yes, I checked your FB timeline. I Googled you. And you were willing to schedule the event for May 20th.

However. And this is a HUGE however – I had NO idea of your expertise. Your ability to enchant an audience. The depth of your knowledge. Your deep-seated humor that so related to my friends.

I’m still recovering from the event. Overwhelmingly awesome. In attendance were two experienced cooks, a few wonderful cooks – and me – a novice who needs remedial lessons. And, you know what, your presentation appealed to all! Okay. Not “appealed” to all. That is too mild an adjective. Every single person in attendance has nothing but the highest praise for the 12 hour experience with you.

Robert, I am so proud to have found you and shared your joy of life and food with my friends. Thank you".
